Background:
Donna was born in Manhattan’s Chinatown to a working-class family trying to carve out a living in the city. Her father, a cook in a dim sum restaurant, and her mother, a garment worker, worked long hours, leaving Donna to fend for herself from a young age. When she was eight, her family moved to Corona, Queens, looking for better opportunities. But the neighborhood had its own set of rules—ones Donna learned fast.
She spent much of her childhood hanging around Spaghetti Park, a local gathering spot known for its mix of old-school Italian wise guys, kids looking for trouble, and neighborhood legends. It was there that she first saw how power operated—not just through muscle, but through respect, loyalty, and a deep understanding of when to talk and when to keep your mouth shut. The old men sitting at the benches, sipping espresso, might’ve looked harmless, but Donna knew better. She watched, she listened, and she learned.
By the time she was a teenager, she had already earned a reputation. She wasn’t just another street kid—she could fight. Hard. Whether it was breaking up a scuffle between friends or handling a guy who didn’t take no for an answer, Donna knew how to throw a punch and, more importantly, when to walk away. The wise guys in Spaghetti Park saw her potential. Some gave her advice, others tested her, but all of them respected her toughness. She learned how to hold her own in a world where weakness was preyed upon, and that lesson stayed with her for life.
Role in the Team:
Donna is the team’s enforcer and protector. If things get physical, she’s the first one in and the last one out. She’s the one who makes sure everyone walks away in one piece, and if that means putting someone through a wall, so be it.
She’s trained in street fighting, knowing how to use her opponent’s weight against them, how to strike fast, and how to make sure a fight doesn’t last longer than it needs to. She’s also a natural in high-pressure situations, keeping her cool when things go south and making split-second decisions that can mean the difference between escape and disaster.
Donna’s time around the wise guys in Spaghetti Park gave her more than just fighting skills—it taught her how to read people. She knows when someone is bluffing, when someone is dangerous, and when someone is just trying to act tough. This makes her invaluable in negotiations, confrontations, and high-stakes operations where violence is always a possibility.
Personality:
Donna is tough, pragmatic, and fiercely protective of her team. She doesn’t take shit from anyone, but she also doesn’t throw her weight around unnecessarily. She believes in justice, but not the kind you find in a courtroom—real justice, the kind you have to take into your own hands when the system fails.
Despite her hard exterior, Donna has a deep sense of loyalty and a soft spot for the people she loves. The Vision Girls aren’t just a crew to her—they’re family. She would die for them, kill for them, and fight like hell to keep them safe.
She doesn’t talk about her emotions much, but her actions speak for her. A well-timed joke, a reassuring nod, or a knowing glance is how she shows she cares. And if anyone tries to hurt one of her own? Well, they won’t make that mistake twice.
